Starting the new year off with a plant-based onigiri pop-up at the South Bay Plant-Based Vibe Veganuary Market! After recently returning from Kyoto, I’ll be serving up a limited selection of onigiri and yaki onigiri, wrapped in bamboo skin or banana leaves for sustainability.

My partner Yuko and I "The Climate Foodies," did our first plant-based pop-up event together as part of a talk event featuring UG (Yuji), a dedicated advocate who lives on the streets abroad, working to uplift those facing poverty, persecution, and discrimination. UG has participated in relief efforts in various countries, including Ukraine, and his powerful stories will bring you closer to the world’s challenges and solutions.
